Over the years, Jay Merrick has created a variety of original emblem designs which are now available for purchase on a variety of products through his art shop. This page is dedicated to the meanings and backstories behind each individual design.
The Knights of Resurgence Emblem
This is an emblem featured in stories taking place in a fictional world created by Jay Merrick and a close friend.

The Shattered Prophecy Emblem
This is emblem is the official logo for Jay's novel; "Shattered Prophecy".
The design depicts a silver pendant that is incredibly significant to the story of Shattered Prophecy and its ending.
Aurum Diamond
This diamond-shaped design with a gold, black and red colour scheme, was loosely inspired by an old design created by Jay Merrick. Now, it has been recreated and repurposed in order to create this new design.
Vigilant Insignia
This V-shaped emblem was designed for an original novel that Jay is currently in the process of conceptualizing.
At the moment, it's uncertain whether or not the design will be included in the story. But for now, he has made this design available to purchase for those who might like it or feel some sort of connection with it.
Scoranea
Loosely inspired by the imagery of scorpions and spiders, this abstract design has an edgy flare to it. It is dark and silvery in colour, contrasted by a red glow around the design. The name "Scoranea" is a combination of the Latin words for Scorpion and Spider.
Ablazed Butterfly
Butterflies typically represent transformation and rebirth, as they are a symbol of change and new beginnings.
Jay was inspired to create a butterfly design during a time of his life where everywhere he went, he couldn't help but notice them. From clothing, logos, tattoos, etc. Jay decided that he wanted to create his own, resulting in this.
This design is also available to purchase in a variety of different colours.
Red Lotus
The Lotus is symbolic of prosperity, rebirth and the overcoming of hardships. For this design, red was chosen as the primary colour as it represents strength and courage; traits needed in order to overcome adversity.
White and gold were also chosen as supplementary colours, with white symbolising new beginnings and fresh starts. Whereas the gold represents the Aurum Revenant brand as a whole.
Lionhearted Trigon
Lions are famously known as symbols of power, courage, strength and valour. Jay was inspired to create a design based off a lion as a counterpoint to his wolf design.
The triangles featured in the design also tie into the same symbolism that the lion represents; power, strength, integrity.
